52 Fridays: Photograph a Stranger

I photograph “strangers” all the time, but they are mostly people who ask me to take their pictures! I pretty much never step out of my comfort zone and do any “street” photography or portraits of people unsolicited. But this past winter we took a little trip to downtown Cincinnati and climbed to the top of the (former) tallest building in the city. The Carew tower observation deck is a great little field trip for the kiddos.

This gentleman works at the top. He chatted a bit about everything, and reminded me that children are a blessing from the Lord. Indeed. And he is quite the blessing to our city, welcoming visitors and residents alike.
