Ignite: a Creative Discovery
We recently took a short day trip into Chicago – we walked about 10 miles that day, and saw a huge chunk of the city… it is a gorgeous town, and it makes Cincinnati look positively tiny! We stopped for lunch for a delicious deep-dish pizza… it was a wonderful, welcome break in the middle of a day full of LOTS of walking!
That boat? Well we tried to get on it. Next time, we shall plan better. The architecture river tour is supposed to be a must-do in Chicago. Luckily, my inlaws live just across the Indiana border and we can take a little trip into town pretty easily. That boat tour is next on the list!
I’m not much of a landscape photographer, people are definitely my specialty – however it was so much fun to photograph Chicago’s beautiful buildings.

Ignite, A Creative Discovery is a fine art project undertaken with a group of photographers around the world – check out what Susan Grace Photography, Hammonton, NJ photographed and follow around the circle!
And because I’m pretty sure the Cloud Gate sculpture AKA the bean qualifies as something Metallic (this week’s project 52 theme) I am doubling up this week! If you are following the Project 52 circle, please click through to Linsey Stuckey’s page to see what she came up with for this theme.

Well that’s a bummer you missed the architecture tour, it really is so interesting. I’ve never seen the water bridge/spray, looks you had a great time seeing the sites. Come back!
