Some moments I count myself lucky to just be in the room with a family. This session was one of those moments – this sweet girl’s family was amazing, you could feel the love and the wonder for their new baby flowing through them. Sweet miss Mila was 3 months old when I came into her home for her session, and she was so very sweet. She is a doll.
One of the reasons I love in-home portrait sessions so very much is the fact that I really get a sense of who people are, simply being in their home puts them at ease, and instead of posing for pictures they are just simply living their love out in front of the camera… and I absolutely love moments like these. Some photographers call sessions like these “lifestyle” but I prefer to just call them real, true, and genuine portraits of love.
How awesome will it be for this little princess to look back on the pictures from when she was a baby and see these pictures of her and her family, in her own home? Have I mentioned that I love in-home sessions?!
