Oh the great outdoors! Now that it’s summer in the Finger Lakes Region, I’m taking full advantage of the warm days! Personally, that means days out on the water, nights by the fire, and splashing in waterfalls. For Mischief and Laughs Photography, summer means outdoor newborn photos! It’s no doubt that summer is favorite time of year!
This outdoor newborn session was so much fun, and although it was a bit chilly for baby, we made it work… she was cozy and comfortable the whole time with a nice secure swaddle around her. Big sister was an amazing helper as well. She was involved in every part of this sweet outdoor session – she helped me with the vintage baby carriage and helped hold the light screen to block some of the intense sun that was coming through the trees.
And of course, my favorites are always the family photos – this momma’s photos with her new baby girl were no exception!
Outdoor newborn sessions can be booked anywhere in the Finger Lakes region – from the beaches of Lake Ontario to the waterfalls around the lakes, I’m always happy to explore new locations! To book your baby’s photos, it’s best to contact me 4-6 weeks before your due date to plan our session. If you’ve already given birth, I’d be happy to chat! I always try to squeeze in last minute bookings.
