The girls told me that Mom has always loved to garden. Their childhood home was full of flowerbed after flowerbed of beautiful perennials and carefully collected treasures. Colorful flowerpots border either side of the big backyard, and bird feeders and birdhouses stand on poles to accommodate the local wildlife. A rope hangs from a large tree, where a tire swing once hung for the girls to play on when they were young.
As the girls grew up, I’m sure the home and the beautiful gardens heard more than their share of laughter. And now that there are three handsome grandsons, laughter and joy once again ring through the yard.
I loved sharing this special glimpse into their lives – the perfect way to celebrate Mom and Dad’s 40th anniversary with their whole family. And I love seeing a bit of my client’s lives, with personalized sessions at their own home. Whether we photograph outdoors or indoors, it’s always a very special time and makes for some very meaningful photos.
