I’m not going to lie. This session was a bit challenging. Sweet little R is turning into quite the spirited toddler and quite franky, I think that’s totally rad. I LOVE children who are full to the brim of personality and aren’t afraid to express it! It does make for some interesting photo sessions, however.
Miss R gave me exactly ONE smile. One. That’s all I was going to get (and it’s a good thing I caught it, because once she gave it, that was it in spite of all my best efforts.) That didn’t mean that I didn’t catch some giggles she didn’t know she let slip out, but as far as smiles for the camera go, I only got that one.
That’s ok though, because we had a great time playing together and having fun with Mommy and Daddy! Well, with daddy anyway. She was having a daddy day and wasn’t afraid to let that be known either! And to make things even more crazy way more fun, we brought in the puppies for a little fun. Being labs, they were all about the session, because well… have you ever met a lab that didn’t love everything possible in life?!
Seriously though, I just love these guys and I loved being able to capture this phase in their lives with their sweet spunky little girl. Thanks again, and I can’t wait till next year when she enters the land of three. Three is awesome, by the way. I can’t wait!
