Saying Thank You {Cincinnati Family Photographer}

This Fourth of July, I will be thankful for more than a killer barbecue or an awesome fireworks show… I will be mindful of a special family who is separated, fighting for our country, preserving the freedoms that we all enjoy.

This lovely (growing) family just embarked on an incredibly difficult journey, one for which I offer them a million thanks. Momma has by now given birth to her new baby boy, and daddy left the day after our session for a long deployment. My heart goes out to them as they go through this journey and my prayers are with them until they are reunited.

I think this may have been my favorite of the mini sessions – I have thing for capturing mommas and their little ones together. Plus, he was just so stinking cute… the expressions he gave me were priceless.

Mom is due with her second (a girl!) in a few months, and I can’t wait for her to be able to experience the joy of having both a little girl and a little boy… they are so different and so much fun.
