Ok, so I think it’s AWESOME that miss Rachael wanted to celebrate her upcoming graduation from Xavier University with some gorgeous portraits. Honestly I think it’s such a huge accomplishment, and it is a moment in life that should be celebrated.

She and I had an absolutely wonderful session in gorgeous Devou Park (all decked out in its fall glory!) I very much enjoyed talking to her, laughing with her – and she was up for ANYTHING. which is extra awesome. We ended up

One thing I love most about senior portrait sessions is how each senior brings something special to the table. By the time they are seniors, each girl has developed her own unique personality, her own sense of style, and her own values and beliefs. She has already experienced so much of life, but yet there is so much life still left to live. It’s the moment of a new, hopeful beginning, as well as a time to look back at all she has accomplished and how far she has come.

Fall Senior Portraits, Beautiful McKayl, Class of 2013

McKayl came to me from St. Henry High School in Northern Kentucky for her fall-inspired senior pictures. Her style is classic, casual, and fun… and her personality matches perfectly! We had a great time during our session, laughing and chatting. McKayl is very easygoing, and her pictures really showcased her awesome personality (and of course her beauty.)

Jamie {Boone County High School Class of 2013}

Another gorgeous senior! I’ve been loving these nature inspired sessions – the wildflowers and the Indian Summer foliage has been truly awesome this year. This sessions started out in a place I’ve never shot before – Jamie really wanted some of her pictures taken in her neighborhood. This was a fantastic idea – I love when my seniors want their pictures taken at a place that is very special and sentimental to them, and what could be better than her own home turf?! And bonus – it was a gorgeous location with great architectural details.

Early Autumn is one of the best times of the year for nature inspired Senior Portraits – and our it’s most popular choice for many of our clients! Renee wanted natural outdoor scenery, and I knew the perfect spot. I’m so grateful for wonderful clients like Renee, who always have a smile on their faces and make my job so easy! We laughed so much during our session.

What could be better than having your senior portraits taken with your best friend?! Seriously, these girls and I had a wonderful time during our Senior session! Their laughter said it all! Each girl got plenty of individual time in front of the camera for their senior portraits, but then we also got some fun shots of the two of them together. I’m sure it will be a keepsake they will treasure always.

Travis, Class of 2012 {Northern KY Senior Portraits}

My last senior portrait session for the class of 2012! Travis, a 2012 Cooper High School Grad, is so laid back and such a wonderful young man. We talked a bit about sports (meaning to say I fumbled through a bit of conversation) and had a bit of fun. When he told me that he was into architecture and baseball, I knew just the location for his portraits – the Roebling bridge, overlooking the Cincinnati skyline and of course, Great American Ballpark!
