First birthdays are such an important step in the journey from babyhood to toddlerhood – it is not only a celebration of baby, but it’s also a celebration of that baby’s mom and dad. It’s been a whole year since your lives have changed completely, and in that year, every fiber of your being becomes intertwined in your new role as “mom” or “dad.” So in a way, it’s not just baby who is celebrating a year of life, but also the new people the parents have become.
