All images I print or publish (on this blog, my personal blog, Facebook, purchased client prints, or elsewhere) are copyrighted. I retain exclusive copyright over all images, including purchased client images, unless otherwise noted. My work is protected under federal copyright laws. The following activity is illegal and is an infringement of copyright.
- Do not scan your prints. If you would like digital files or reprints, you are welcome to purchase them through your order gallery.
- Do not download and print images from my website or Facebook (They are web sized and will not print well anyway.)
- Please do not edit or otherwise alter your images. If you have a special request in regards to the editing your images, please ask when your order is placed. I will happily accommodate most requests. 🙂
- If watermarked copies are provided, please do not remove the watermark. This protects your family as well as my hard work from less-than-honest people who might try to claim my images as their own work.
After each session, I will create at least one blog post featuring my favorite photos from the session. Feel free to share this post with friends and family! I will also post many sessions on my business Facebook page. If you want to tag yourself, go right ahead, but you must not crop out the watermark. I’d appreciate if you’d also tag or link back to Mischief and Laughs Photography. None of the images I post online are suitable for printing. They are very low-resolution.
If you purchase a CD of high-resolution digital images, it will come with a print release, which allows you to print as many picutres you need of the images you purchase. Purchased digital files are optimized for small prints (11×14 or under) because that is what I have found my clients print most often. They are full-resolution files, however, and you may print as large as you like. All self-printing is considered at your own risk, however I will recommend a preferred lab. I can also sell single image files, for use in Holiday cards or announcements. Please inquire for prices or details. Purchased digital files also come with web-sized copies for social sharing.
