I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet family’s maternity pictures earlier this summer, and now I’ve finally had the opportunity to meet their precious baby boy. Mr Hudson is quite the handsome little fella! His momma described him as a “bit of an old soul” and indeed he was – if a baby can have a wise look about him, Hudson does. We put together a perfect little newborn session in my Northern Kentucky studio. Big sister did a fantastic job posing with her sweet new baby! 
In Kentucky, horse racing is a big deal (in case you haven’t heard.) So when Hudson’s momma asked me to put together something derby inspired, I jumped at the chance for a little inspiration! Thankfully with the help of a great thrift store quilt topper and an awesome neighbor that can bring me perfectly rusted vintage horseshoes on a whim, we pulled it off beautifully! 
Of course, we also got plenty of the classic newborn portraits that are a signature of Mischief and Laughs Photography! Because sweet sleeping babies never go out of style.
