Baby E. was such a sweet doll! He was sleepy for quite a bit of the shoot – and actually let us do some fun stuff with him that some newborns don’t even tolerate!
A good portion of the shoot was spent up in E’s room – I love taking nursery shots. Moms and Dads spend so much time creating a special place for their little one, and being able to take pictures of the baby in their own space is so much fun!
Also, I’ve been dying to try the baby-on-mom’s-bed shot for a while now, and E’s mom had great light, and a wonderfully simple blanket to make it work.
The last shot here is actually my favorite. I encourage ALL my mommies to get in front of the camera, even if they are not intending to be a part of the shoot.
