This past month I have been working on a very special project to benefit a wonderful charity, COTA (the Children’s Organ Transplant Association.) There’s a special little boy who inspired this project – Jonathan, who probably wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for a life-saving liver transplant a little over 2 years ago. And COTA helped his family along the way, picking up the expenses that insurance didn’t cover.
COTA’s mission is that no child be turned away from an organ transplant because of financial reasons, and they do all they can to help organ recipients with medical expenses.
Our efforts raised over $400 to help this organization! Thank you to all those who signed up for a session, as well as the local businesses who generously donated items for the goody bags.
