Summer Blooms Mini Session
These outdoor sessions are fantastic for families who want bold color and summer sunsets in their annual photos! This session would also be perfect for a senior who just wants a few images.
Cost: $175

Big Sky Mini Session
These outdoor sessions take advantage of the beautiful September sunsets – the best of the whole year! The session takes place up on a hilltop surrounded by wildflowers, and gives us opportunities for fun silhouettes and candid playful images!
Cost: $175

Riverside Mini Session
These outdoor sessions take place in the heart of Loveland at the Little Miami River, and are the perfect blend of classic portraits and splashy fun! I recommend this session for babies who are old enough to sit comfortably unassisted, as the ground is rocky and I don’t want any babies bonking their heads!

Fall Leaves Mini Session
These classic fall sessions are some of my favorites for the year! These are great for any family wishing to get some of that yummy fall color in their pictures!

Mini Sessions FAQs
- Where will the sessions be held?
Each session has its own unique location! If you are from the west side of Cincinnati or NKY, the summer blooms session at Mt Airy Forest will be the most convenient. Big Sky Minis are centrally located in Blue Ash. The Riverside and Fall Leaves minis convenient to the north and east sides of town in Loveland and Montgomery. - What if it rains?
All of these sessions are outdoors and if there’s a high chance of rain, they will be rescheduled. If you are not able to make the rain date, you are welcome to switch your booking to another available theme, you can book an individually scheduled weeknight session at a location of my choice, or I will refund your session fee. - What if I need to reschedule for illness or any other reason?
I understand that things come up! If you need to reschedule, you may switch to any other available mini session date. If you cannot make any of the dates listed, or if all dates are full, contact Cara and we’ll do a weeknight mini session at a location of my choice. There are NO REFUNDS for reschedules for any reason other than rain, and makeup sessions must be photographed before the end of the 2025 portrait season. - How many people can be in the session?
Minis are ideal for immediate families, children, couples, maternity, or individual portraits. If you have a larger group, please reach out so we can discuss option - Are pets allowed?
Yes! All outdoor sessions are pet friendly! - Is 15 minutes enough time?
I’ve been doing mini sessions for years, and I find that 15 minutes is perfect for families with school aged, teen, or adult children. Babies and toddlers sometimes need a bit more time to warm up to the camera, but I can usually get a few smiles in that short time. If you’d like a longer session you are welcome to book back to back spots! - What should we wear?
Bold jewel tones and earth tones work beautifully with fall sessions! Avoid bright neon colors or heavy patterns. Once booked, I’ll provide a style guide to help you coordinate outfits. - How many images will we receive?
You’ll receive a gallery of edited images to choose from, with a 5 digital images included in your package. Additional images will be available for purchase. - When will we receive our photos?
Your gallery will be delivered within two weeks after your session. - How do I book?
