Preschoolers don’t like to be still. All the beauty that is out there in the great big world is infinitely more interesting than sitting and smiling for the camera. And that’s ok. Because they are made to move. Their little legs go go go and their little minds are racing to absorb everything around them. The innate curiosity and the boundless energy are precisely why little kids are my favorite subject to photograph.
This adorably spunky girl made me smile right from the start of our session! I loved her mischievous little grin so much. And the fact that the session took place in her own backyard made the pictures all that much more precious. This is her home turf, and it shows.
