There’s this spot in downtown that just fascinates me – always has. It’s a beautiful greenspace near the Proctor and Gamble headquarters, two city blocks full of gorgeous stone and wood pergolas and mature wisteria vines. In the middle, a perfectly maintained garden. I’ve had sessions here from time to time, but never at the time the wisteria is in bloom – it’s a short little show of flowers, you know.
This year for Mother’s Day, I told my crew that all I wanted to do was to go downtown with them to see the blooms… we were a little late to the show, many varieties had already dropped their petals (and to be honest, there weren’t as many blooms as I was hoping in the first place. Not like the wisteria gardens I see pictured in Japan.) But you know, I’m not one to be disappointed, especially when the gardens have so much more to offer. Plus, we had a great time playing in the spent blooms like lovely smelling confetti. We had dried flower petals everywhere… literally everywhere. And the fountains and the gardens were amazing!
Great pict of Chris and the kids!!
