I LOVE this time of year in Western NY – the summer heat has passed and there’s a hint of autumn in the breeze. Apples are starting to ripen on the trees and the wildflowers are in full bloom. And this beautiful early fall engagement session up at Sodus Point was extra special – the land has been in the family for generations, and now this young couple are preparing to make it their own as they join together to make their own little family.
The apple orchard was the perfect backdrop for sweet engagement photos! I loved photographing these two together, and I can’t wait till next year when I photograph their wedding! After some time Living the Dream in the orchard, we scooted over to Sodus Point for some quick pictures at the beach before the storm rolled in. I love the moody look the clouds give these photos.
