My favorite type of family photo session? Pretty ones, sure. I do like a picturesque setting, perfectly dressed kids, and smiling faces. I like sunsets and scenic views. But mostly? I love families that are willing to have fun with each other, get a little silly, and show each other how much they care during their session. I love big hugs, silly faces, passionate kisses, piggy back rides and jumping into daddy’s arms. THAT is my idea of a picture-perfect photo session. And these folks certainly brought the love with them.
And with the beautiful beachfront setting on Canandaigua Lake, the picturesque part of the session I adore was certainly taken care of! Onanada beach is the perfect spot for a sunset session, with beautiful lake views, plenty of rocky shoreline, and the cutest little cabins ever!
