Creating normalcy in the face of a scary times – it’s a very admirable goal for the parents of kiddos with very un-normal things going on. My little buddy Elijah and his family have been regulars here at Mischief and Laughs – with baby photos, new pregnancies, and family sessions, we’ve celebrated all of their milestones together. This new chapter of their life is marked by a pretty frightening speed bump – a childhood cancer diagnosis.
Elijah’s parents really wanted to spend some time doing normal “holiday” things this year – the type of things they’ve always done in the fall. Going to the pumpkin farm, dressing in costume and visiting the zoo, and taking family pictures. I’m thrilled that I was able to make this session happen for them, and that they could celebrate this moment in their family – the love they have for each other has been magnified in the face of adversity.
PS: Still don’t have your family ‘s fall portraits booked? I have a few last minute spots for sessions in time for Christmas cards! Schedule a 10 minute phone consultation to learn more!
