Indoor Maternity Portraits in Cincinnati OH

I’m so overdue on blogging it’s ridiculous. Somehow with moving my family and photography business to Cincinnati, OH I forgot to blog a ton of sessions. So I’m slowly going through all last year’s pictures and updating the blog. Pardon the dust, as they say. These maternity portraits at my indoor studio back in NY shows exactly why I chose that space. Here in Cincinnati, my home studio is a bit smaller and lacks the beautiful brick, but I can still photograph pregnancy photos with every bit of the same creativity! After all, I spent years with a home studio before moving. And who knows, one day I may have a separate studio again.

This sweet momma has long since given birth. Her baby is actually getting ready to celebrate his first birthday! I’d say it’s about time to share these pictures with the world, wouldn’t you? (By the way if you want to see his 6 month photos, I’ve already blogged those. Nothing like working in random order – I mean it’s whatever the spirit moves me to post at this point.) 😉

One of the things I love about this session was Mom’s willingness to try a different style of gown than she would normally pick for herself. The thing is, it looked amazing on her, and I’m so glad she overcame her hesitation to try the tighter fitting body con style maternity gown! Besides, with so many gowns in the studio, the worst thing that could have happened is that she hated it and picked something else!
