Weddings are unique, special celebrations with a heartfelt magic all their own. One of the things I love most about weddings is how each couple makes their day their very own. This couple did that by including their dog, Waffles in the ceremony and he was honestly the best boy with the biggest puppy energy! Their ceremony at Carnegie Hall in Newport KY was classic and elegant, but with a casual down to earth vibe that felt extremely genuine.

The crew at Carnegie Hall was one of the best I’ve worked with – no surprise, Delightmore venues always have the very best people involved! They worked with my couple and with the rest of the vendor team to make sure that every need was met throughout the day.

The ceremony was so sweet, and the courtyard setting made for a lovely ceremony. I really loved the setting and the all the florals were breathtaking!

I mentioned their dog, Waffles, before but let me focus for a minute on JUST HOW CUTE he was. If I have one wedding recommendation for you, it’s to include your dog in whatever way possible. This may be a slightly selfish recommendation because can I pet that dog?

And let’s take just a second to appreciate the fantastic bubble exit! Between the multiple bubble machines and all the party vibes they had going for this, it may be my favorite celebration exit to date!
And let me tell you, as a documentary wedding photographer, I love to see action like this! Real emotions are everything and moments like this help create the type of memories you’ll want to cherish for the rest of your married days.

If you are planning a Northern Kentucky wedding with up to 150 guests and want a breathtaking venue that really caters to the needs of the couple, I definitely recommend Carnegie Hall of Newport! It’s charming and full of historical finishes and beautiful details!
