Our city is gripped with some serious cold this week, negative temps and icy cold wind chills make being outside unbearable. But before we got the blast of icy air (thanks to a polar vortex whatever that means) I got to go out with my good friend and take some quick maternity pictures in the gorgeous snow that stuck to everything!
One thing I love about maternity photos is that momma is always so radiant and Molly is no exception! She was quite the trooper in the snow, of course her little bun in the oven kept her pretty warm.

Maternity photos can take place at any stage of pregnancy, however most new moms plan to come in for their maternity photo session when they are around 7 months pregnant. Newborns ideally should be booked well before baby is born, so that we all have plenty of time to prepare your session, however if you decide you want pictures after baby’s already here, please go ahead and give me a call because I oftentimes can work something into the schedule.
