Move over big Bro, there’s a new baby in town.
This little chunk of love and his sweet big brother (who isn’t even two yet) totally captured my heart during their in home newborn session. Sessions like this are exactly why I still offer portraits in home, even though I have a studio. Toddler brothers are just way more comfortable in their own home. And really, nothing is better than a toddler brother who’s exploring and playing and overall just having a good time.
I mean, really. Case in point.
And for a minute let’s just talk about this blue couch. Totally fabulous. I love their sense of style.
And of course I can’t do a newborn + sibling session without bringing the ever popular fuzzy blanket. Barefoot, shirtless toddlers just go crazy about this thing. He tried to steal it. I can’t blame him. đ
Need another reason to love in home newborn sessions? The downtime, the moments, the memories. I could go on all day!
Of course, we always take some time for some sweet newborn portraits. I can’t help myself, the squishy newborn babies get me every time. Usually during a newborn session I’ll bring along enough wraps, blankets, and props for 1 or 2 traditional newborn poses, based on your personal preferences. If you’d like a more traditional newborn portrait experience with lots of blanket, basket, hat and prop options, a studio session may be a better fit… but for many growing families, an in home session experience is pure perfection.
And yes, I realize that this post is getting ridiculously long, but how can I leave out these precious portraits of mom and dad with their sweet new baby boy?
