One of my favorite things about photographing children is that they come in all varieties and personalities. I love meeting little people, getting to know them, earn their trust, and then of course I love getting to play with them and take their pictures! These two little sweeties were shy (so said their momma) but clearly they warmed up to me enough for some very sweet pictures. I just love the grins and giggles they gave me! Turns out Mr J shares a birthday my own baby girl! He thought that was pretty cool, that I had a little girl that was born on the exact same day. 🙂
And of course the little Miss was a barrel full of giggles…Â I adore doing first birthday and one year old pictures because the babies are so much fun! Always exploring and learning new things, and I get to capture the magic and the wonder of it all.
This sessions was also interesting because in the middle the sky opened up and started POURING! Momma and I looked at each other and ran for cover – those ones in the middle of the set next to the stone wall, yeah it was raining during all that. Thankfully it was just a short summer gullywasher and we got back out to shooting the session very soon, and ended up with a gallery full of awesome memories for this young family.
