You know that day every fall when summer turns unmistakably to autumn? That suddenly cold, wet, day that just smells like fall? This was that morning. It was wet and cold, let me tell you! Family photography in Cincinnati is a bit unpredictable like that, and although I usually prefer to just reschedule, sometimes that’s not really possible. But my clients decided that it’d be best to go ahead with the session anyway, and darn it, we made it work between the raindrops. A little patience, a few breaks in the car, some thick trees to provide cover, and a well placed gazebo to run under made it all happen. (Side note: we’ll discuss backup plans if the weather looks bad! Some clients like to have their family photo session in their home or in my studio, some prefer to stay outside and put up with the weather. I’m flexible.)
Anyway, I’m glad we were able to make this chilly session work! These photos will be a precious memory of your family for years to come.
